At ZZ Carolina Group, real estate has always been about more than buying and selling homes. While many view real estate as a transaction-based business, our mission has always been centered on building meaningful relationships, creating lasting friendships, and fostering a strong sense of community.
On May 30, 2026, that mission came to life as nearly 200 clients, friends, family members, and community supporters gathered at the Charlotte Pickleball Arena for our annual Client Appreciation Day.
A Day of Competition, Connection, and Celebration
The event brought together people from across North and South Carolina for an unforgettable day filled with friendly competition, delicious food, entertainment, and community spirit.
Participants of all skill levels took part in exciting pickleball matches throughout the day. From first-time players to seasoned competitors, everyone embraced the opportunity to challenge themselves, encourage one another, and enjoy the growing sport together.
While the games were certainly exciting, the event represented something much greater than competition. It was a chance for old friends to reconnect, new friendships to form, and families to spend quality time together away from the demands of everyday life.
As ZZ Carolina Group founder Zhengzheng Hu shared during the event:

A Feast That Felt Like Home
No community gathering is complete without great food, and this year's event did not disappoint.
Guests enjoyed a generous selection of authentic Chinese and American dishes prepared with care and attention. Many attendees commented on the comforting flavors that reminded them of home, while others appreciated the opportunity to experience traditional dishes for the first time.
Special thanks go to the dedicated volunteers and friends who helped prepare and serve the food, making sure everyone felt welcomed and cared for throughout the day.
Fun for the Entire Family
One of the highlights of the event was seeing families enjoy the celebration together.
Children spent the day participating in games, winning prizes, collecting plush toys, and creating memories with friends old and new. Their laughter and excitement brought incredible energy to the venue and reinforced the family-oriented atmosphere that defines the ZZ Carolina Group community.
Throughout the day, guests also enjoyed performances, music, and entertainment that encouraged everyone to participate. By the evening, many attendees found themselves singing, dancing, and celebrating together.
Celebrating Excellence on the Court
As the tournament concluded, participants eagerly gathered for the awards ceremony.
After several rounds of competitive play, champions, runners-up, and third-place finishers from each division were recognized for their outstanding performances. Winners proudly received medals and prizes while family members, friends, and fellow competitors cheered them on.
The level of sportsmanship displayed throughout the competition was equally impressive. Players encouraged one another, celebrated successes together, and demonstrated the values of teamwork and respect that make community events so meaningful.
